Senior Solution Definition Analyst - Reservation / Ticketing & Contract Management

Business Environment

Be a functional expertise entry point in all products handled within the group for complex and cross functional/division solutions analysis/recommendation. The Ticketing Contract Management entity develops reservation products for airlines and travel agents, related to passenger bookings and electronic tickets.

Our main products focus on orchestrating contracts between airlines, travel agencies, and passengers - administering 2.5 million tickets and 700 million USD daily.

The platform includes:

• The issuance of electronic documents from passenger bookings across all Amadeus channels;
• Management of aftersales (refunds, cancellations, exchanges);
• Administration of pricing offers and commissions;
• Interface with airlines and travel agencies for travel accounting.

Purpose

We are transitioning to an agile environment with SCRUM for delivery and KANBAN for maintenance, focusing on customer centricity, interoperability, and quality, while fostering innovation.

Our organization emphasizes dedicated teams for architecture, solutions, and expertise support.

Projects include major airline implementations, travel distribution programs, and technical projects like NDCX and Ticketing evolutions, as well as collaborations on platform visions like Creation Platform, Travel Platform, and NEVIO.

Our challenges involve industry trends like NDC, OneOrder, and Airline Retailing transformation, alongside cloud migration and other strategic initiatives, ensuring product reliability.

Your Main Responsibilities

Common accountabilities:

• Possess advanced technical/functional knowledge in your discipline, understanding how your area contributes to the business; act as a reference and support junior team members.
• Influence decisions, anticipate dependencies, contribute to projects, propose process improvements, and fulfill team commitments.
• Work independently within the plan, with guidance on complex issues.
• Act as a RES/TCM functional ambassador, involved in enterprise-level solution design (e.g., NDCX, NEVIO).
• Demonstrate strong business acumen and curiosity for end-to-end solution design, minimizing gaps through holistic, collaborative approaches.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, including resource and budget planning.

Specific accountabilities:

• Participate in solution design within your department.
• Engage with Product Managers and customers to understand needs and constraints.
• Analyze cross-functional requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Communicate progress and document solutions for review.
• Present solutions and explain technical info simply during review forums.
• Handover validated solutions to SAFE organizations for development.
