Stellar Telecommunications in Bruges, France is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain STEER Management, Stellar's OpenWisp-based device and network management platform, with a Django/Python backend.

This hands-on role focuses on ownership across backend APIs, data models and OpenWisp integration, while collaborating with DevOps, product and customer teams in an open-source oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python.
• Design REST APIs and multi-layer permission systems.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals; OpenWisp experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain STEER Management features on OpenWisp-based platform.
• Own Django/Python backend, REST APIs and access-control logic.
• Document data models and improve test coverage across upgrades.
