The Senior Software Developer Role

Your foundational contributions will empower global R&D teams to deliver highly scalable, efficient, observable, and resilient micro-services, supporting mission-critical Data and Analytics use cases for thousands of high-profile customers worldwide. As part of our technological evolution, your work will shape the growth and success of our cloud ecosystem.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Tooling Development: Improve and maintain our CI/CD tools using Jenkins and Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain application and API integration products mainly using Java across various platforms (microservice, GWT, Eclipse RCP).
• Collaborative Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and features, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Code Quality and Documentation: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensure well-documented designs, and implement automated tests for reliability and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback to improve our tools continually, staying updated with new technologies and industry best practices.
• Community Engagement: Engage in sharing practices, organizing events, webinars, and forums to promote engagement and collaboration.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Proficiency with CI/CD processes, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in Java, especially in a cloud/microservice environment. Familiarity with GWT and/or Eclipse RCP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocol, and web services.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English, especially for technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Preferred: Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and high availability systems.
