Checkout.com is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I in Paris to join the Identity Verification Team. You will build next‑gen verification features, deploying AI-enabled and computer-vision driven solutions within a microservices architecture, collaborating with product, DevOps and data scientists to ship production‑ready systems.

The role emphasizes data integrity, compliance, and translating complex insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience on large-scale systems.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience in agile environments and delivering high-quality code.
• AI-minded or AI-curious to leverage new tech.
• Payments or fintech knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Drive design and development of scalable apps for identity verification within a microservices architecture.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Risk across teams to maximize data science impact.
• Champion technical excellence and knowledge sharing in the Data organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management across a large engineering community.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code on high-impact systems.
• Build, own and operate your systems with high resilience.
• Mentor junior team members and support their growth.
