PROPHESEE in Paris seeks an experienced software engineer to design and implement production-quality C++ and Python software across PC and embedded environments. You will work near algorithms, sensors and real-world systems, contributing to software architecture and system integration.

Six+ years of professional software development, strong C++ skills, and experience with IPC/memory management are essential. Knowledge of robotics, AI, embedded Linux and a DevOps mindset will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C++ skills for maintainable, production-quality software.
• Experience with IPC and memory management/optimization.
• Python development for applications, tooling, and integration is desirable.
• Software architecture, APIs and component design experience.
• Git, code reviews, automated testing, debugging, profiling and documentation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated builds, packaging and deployment is a plus.
• Experience in computer vision, AI or robotics is a plus.
• Robotics/embedded systems experience, including embedded Linux and ARM targets.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and maintain production-quality C++ and Python software.
• Contribute to software architecture, component decomposition, interfaces and APIs.
• Integrate internal components, third-party libraries and hardware interfaces.
• Develop automated tests and support debugging, profiling and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation and quality practices.
• Support deployment across PC and embedded targets.
• Collaborate with AI, DevOps and embedded engineers on end-to-end product integration.
