Senior Software Engineer - Core Entities team - Paris based, Paris

About the Role

We are looking for an engaged and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering department, specifically our Core Platform team. You will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that add customer value. Your daily tasks will include operational excellence, metrics, observability, best practices, evangelization, and mentoring within your team and across Engineering. Using Ruby and TypeScript back-end stacks, hosted on AWS, you will build resilient services that integrate with our customers' critical tools (CRM, Helpdesk, E-Commerce, etc.).

Responsibilities

1. Build and operate distributed, real-time services powering the core of our product.
2. Use Ruby and TypeScript to build, test, and deploy applications and systems.
3. Own meaningful parts of our service, making an impact and growing with the company.
4. Lead architectural decisions for new and existing services.
5. Drive projects that increase platform resilience and scalability.

About You

• You have proven experience in back-end development with languages such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, or NodeJS, focusing on security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• You have extensive experience working with AWS in a production environment, especially for high-volume/high-availability services, and understand how to design, deploy, and optimize within this environment.
• You are autonomous with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
• You desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, tech-first environment.
