Datadog seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Action Platform in Paris. The role blends architecture, implementation, reliability, and leadership as part of the Private Action Runner team.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional groups, mentor three engineers, and help shape core execution layers behind Datadog’s action and remediation capabilities. Hybrid work model, with a pathway toward Engineering Manager 1 as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in one or more programming languages.
• Ability to design architecture for high scale and performance.
• Strong emphasis on code simplicity and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Solve a scaling bottleneck in a critical service.
• Deploy new features to production with controlled rollout using feature flags.
• Investigate and fix production issues in services owned by the team.
• Design scalable solutions to handle increased traffic.
• Plan high-impact projects with your team.
• Mentor and lead a small team of engineers.

Formation

BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience
