Job summary

Swile is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to solve problems creatively, balancing speed, pragmatism and excellence. You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate with multiple teams, and mentor others while keeping code simple, fast and reliable.

You will work with Ruby on Rails and TS/React/Node.js, adapt quickly to Swile's stack and contribute to scalable architectures that delight users and clients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in problem & data analysis.
• Collaborate with a variety of teams to offer pragmatic solutions and implement them end to end.
• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor your code in production autonomously and reliably.
• Work with the Engineering Manager to design solutions and be accountable for their execution.
• Understand the business to provide relevant solutions to users and clients.
• Be a facilitator and contribute to information flow to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and architectures; assess Swile applications.
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews.
• Mentor and promote tech growth within teams.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOUR MISSION WILL BE

• Demonstrate proficiency in problem & data analysis
• Collaborate with a variety of teams to offer pragmatic solutions to real world problems and implement them end to end
• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor your code in production autonomously and reliably
• Work with the Engineering Manager to design solutions and be accountable for their execution
• Obtain a good understanding of the business to provide relevant solutions to users and clients
• Be a facilitator and contribute to the information flow to the relevant stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and architectures, demonstrate good judgment in their potential Swile applications
• Provide positive, constructive and qualitative feedback during code reviews.
• Mentor and promote tech growth within the teams
