Overview

We are seeking our new Senior Software Engineer to join the Axway team!

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our multicultural team.

The person will be responsible for developing and maintaining code, writing unit tests, proposing technical solutions for implementations. She/He will work in a multicultural team, collaborating with business analysts, architects, and quality assurance engineers to deliver new features to the product. She/He will also implement automated testing, through development team tests as well as QA automated tests.

We are using a standard CI/CD pipeline based on Jenkins, Maven, etc. The candidate will contribute to these pipelines as well. The development environment is based on C, Script, Python. Other development languages like Java could be a plus. Operating systems mainly include Linux and Windows, but also cover AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, etc.

The product environment is increasingly aligned with modern deployment architectures such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.

The product is mission-critical for customers, highly technical, and requires high-end secured communication capabilities (TCP/UDP/HTTP), quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

· Proficient in C and scripting languages

· Excellent knowledge of Unix and Windows platforms

· Strong experience with REST Web Services

· Certificates and TLS communications

· Rigorous and detail-oriented

Nice to Have:

· English language skills (team includes members in India)

· Good knowledge of Python development

· Knowledge of Java

· Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

· General knowledge of security mechanisms

· Positive team attitude

Unique Differentiators:

· Knowledge of Axway Automator

· Experience developing critical production products

You will work with a highly experienced and communicative team.

The job will be located in Paris, but other locations can be discussed.
