• Architect and maintain the infrastructure powering Ricardo.ch, Tutti.ch, and Anibis.ch using Terraform for infrastructure as code management as well as Kubernetes and Helm for efficient orchestration.
• Develop internal tooling to streamline the workflow of software engineers and enhance our product evolution, improving CI/CD via automated pipelines for fast, reliable delivery.
• Act as an enabler for the Engineering team, facilitating improvements to our products in a DevOps approach.
• Stay abreast of current trends in technology and leverage them to enhance our products.
• Performance monitoring and optimization for a smooth user experience and optimized costs.

Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

The role of an SRE is multifaceted and expertise can vary across different domains. While proficiency in all areas is not expected, familiarity with some of the following tools and technologies is desirable:

• Professional Experience: Must have substantial experience in a development language such as Go, Java, C#, C/C++, or similar.
• Willingness to Learn: Regardless of your primary language, you will need to learn and work with the Go language.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with GCP/AWS or any other cloud provider.
• Knowledge of Istio for service mesh management.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus (Mimir/Cortex), Tempo, and Loki.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare for optimizing performance and security.
