Redstone Commodity Search is working with an established Danish Commodities Trading House in their search for a Senior Short-Term Power Trader to join the growing Energy team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Focus on trading the short-term EU power market, day ahead including front month+2, analysing and seeking out new opportunities and trends.
  • Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.
  • Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
  • Refine and develop trading strategies.
  • Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
  • Role reports into the Director of Power Trading.
Key Qualifications / Experience
  • Having a broad understanding of international power fundamentals.
  • Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
  • 5+ years of relevant power trading experience.
  • Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Located in Denmark.
