We’re Riess Group – a Shopify Plus Agency that’s been designing and developing stunning websites and web apps since 2006. We're a fully remote team of 35+ hardworking and talented individuals spanning 20+ countries. We are hiring for a Senior Frontend Shopify Developer full-time position.

In this role, you’ll be developing and modifying themes for some of our biggest VIP clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, as well as fast-growing businesses that need the expertise of a premier Shopify Plus agency. You should be task-driven, self-managed, eager to learn, and capable of driving projects forward. Your high standards for quality will ensure our merchants never have to deal with buggy code again.

In this role, you will:

1. Develop high-quality frontend code for Shopify themes
2. Perform quality checks on your work before handing it off to QA Engineers
3. Make recommendations and help scope new projects for existing and new clients
4. Coordinate with peers (PMs, designers, QA, etc.) and clients to ensure smooth and timely project delivery
5. Assist with other tasks, both mundane and exciting, to support our team and clients

Expected salary: $70,000-$115,000 USD per year.

The position is available for both contractors and employees. Employees are hired through our EOR, Remote.com, outside the USA. Benefits and PTO are only available to employees, with variations by region.

You must have:

• At least 2 years or more of strong experience developing Shopify themes. Bonus points if this experience is gained within an agency setting.

• Excellent written English skills, and comfort speaking English on calls with clients and colleagues.

Your schedule should overlap at least 6 hours with USA CT time zone business hours (8 am - 5 pm USA time).
