Spendesk in Paris is seeking a senior security engineer to own the technical security roadmap, build tooling, train developers, and partner with Infrastructure on secure‑by‑default solutions. This is an individual contributor role with high influence: you’ll mentor the Associate Security Engineer, drive remediation, and act as the go‑to security expert for engineering squads.

You’ll be hands‑on across the full security surface from day one, moving toward architecture and strategy as the team

Qualifications

• Own security outcomes end to end across code, infra, and incident response.
• Ability to communicate risk and drive fixes to non‑specialists.
• Deep understanding of modern web architectures and security tradeoffs.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve the technical security roadmap with engineering teams.
• Mentor the Associate Security Engineer and influence across squads.
• Embed security into the development lifecycle (threat modelling, secure code patterns, CI/CD hardening).
• Coordinate and perform penetration tests and security audits; manage remediation actions.
