Job summary

Pigment is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to own the security roadmap for its product, infrastructure and CI/CD environment. You will read code, threat model services, triage vulnerabilities and build automation to close gaps, working with a seven-person security team that collaborates with compliance, governance and security operations.

Qualifications

• Own a security roadmap for a product or platform end to end.
• Drive security work through engineering teams you didn’t have authority over.
• Hands-on security across development, databases, networking, and web.

Responsibilities

• Design security features into the product and strengthen defence-in-depth.
• Review code, architecture and configuration; escalate critical calls.
• Run assurance programmes: code, architecture, configuration reviews, red team, bug bounty.
• Own vulnerabilities from detection to verified fix and measure KPIs.
• Build detection capabilities and write rules to catch real attacks.
• Lead security investigations end to end across production security.
• Set technical direction for secure SDLC with guidance and reviews.
