This role is part of the Master Data Management team, which’s responsibility is to support MDM strategies, requirements, and policies aligned to the AXA XL vision. The role of the Assistant Scientist is to support with his EBX MDM expertise the implementation process of Master Data Management for projects and BAU. You will be working on EBX design and implementation for different IDA MDM projects across the reference data management for various Lines of Business, party data (Clients & Brokers), and location data domains.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

1. Analyze Business requirements and transform them into technical requirements – take the lead in requirements definition and clarification when appropriate.
2. Validate the feasibility and estimate the complexity of the business requirement.
3. Support the customers and other stakeholders in the demand generation.
4. Support Location MDM delivery team on design, development, user training, and operations with EBX tool.
5. Report progress and performance periodically to Team Leader.
6. Maintain consistent interaction with Team Leader on any business issues.
7. Engage regularly with key stakeholders and project sponsors to understand their needs related to Master Data Management and provide solutions.
8. Ensure complete adherence to defined Service Level Agreements – productivity, turnaround time, and accuracy.
9. Design, build, test, and provide user training for MDM Projects and BAU changes.
10. Share information with the business customer community.
11. Support translating Business requests into EBX processes.
12. Monitor Data Quality.
13. Support business processes across all segments.

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone with these skills and abilities:

• University Graduate with 7-10 years of experience in MDM processes, data analysis, or data initiatives, preferably in insurance.
• Strong experience in MDM Design & Development with Tibco EBX tool.
• Good knowledge of MDM implementation processes.
• Hands-on expertise with Tibco EBX MDM tool.
• Strong experience in EBX design and implementation of Match & Merge processes.
• Experience with Java & J2EE, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery / AngularJS, Testing frameworks.
• Experience with SQL Server (2008 and above) and TSQL development.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, data and process modeling, and relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of REST API, Web Services, XML, SOAP, and middleware such as MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of Tomcat, WebLogic, IBM WebSphere build processes.
• Knowledge of Insurance Industry and Party Data.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High accuracy in data input.
• Strong analytical skills.
