An innovative biotech company is seeking a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology to join their pioneering team. This role offers the chance to develop cutting-edge computational pipelines and support groundbreaking research in gene therapy. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will design enzyme variant libraries and analyze genomic datasets to uncover new therapeutic targets. If you are passionate about leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of medicine.
Brink Therapeutics is a venture-backed biotech company specializing in the development of cutting-edge gene therapy tools. We focus on site-specific recombinases, highly efficient enzymes that enable precise DNA modifications—such as inserting, removing, or inverting DNA sequences—without causing double-strand breaks. These recombinases offer a safer, more precise alternative to existing technologies like CRISPR-Cas9, with the potential to revolutionize Cell and Gene Therapies and make them more accessible.
Joining Brink Therapeutics means becoming one of our first team members and experiencing the excitement of building an ambitious company leveraging advanced Directed Evolution, deep gene-mining techniques, and AI to develop new treatments for cancers, autoimmune diseases, genetic disorders, and more.
We seek passionate scientists or engineers eager to solve challenging problems and improve patients’ lives worldwide. If this describes you, we invite you to help shape the future of medicine!
As a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology, you will innovate and develop computational pipelines to address diverse challenges, collaborating closely with Molecular Biology and AI teams. Your goal will be to support wet-lab efforts by generating high-utility recombinase candidates and creating large datasets for machine learning analysis.
You should have broad bioinformatics expertise, strong software development skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new domains. Organizational skills, clear documentation, and effective communication are essential. You should be a collaborative problem solver who enjoys working towards ambitious multidisciplinary goals.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an early-stage biotech company shaping genome editing for Cell and Gene Therapy. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and a beautiful office in Paris. If you're excited to revolutionize genome editing and expand access to therapies, apply now and make a difference!
