Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse seeks a Design and Accommodation Responsible to lead design and accommodation studies for space products and telecom satellites. You will optimize layouts, manage interfaces, and ensure compliance with technical requirements across mechanical, thermal, electrical, and RF disciplines.

The role requires a Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 5+ years in space design, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience >5 years in design and accommodation of space products or telecom satellites.
• Strong understanding of satellite architecture and subsystems.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and accommodation studies for space products and telecom satellites.
• Develop optimized layout solutions for satellite platforms and payloads.
• Validate design choices for manufacturability and performance against specs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and RF disciplines.
• Prepare interfaces, accommodation reports, and interface control documents.
• Participate in design reviews and present solutions.
