Senior Satellite 5G/NTN Systems Architect

World Aquatics; Toulouse; Híbrido; EUR 90.000 - 130.000; Jornada completa

Descripción de la vacante

UNIVITY is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Systems Engineer to join our Toulouse team. You will dimension, define and validate advanced communications systems, reporting to the CTO.

The role covers end-to-end architecture across user, space, ground segments and 5G core, including roaming and RAN sharing. You will drive budgets, perform simulations in Python or MATLAB, and ensure readiness for Releases 17–20 and 6G.

Formación

• Engineering degree or master’s in telecommunications, electronics, or space systems.
• PhD is a plus.
• Experience in satellite telecommunications systems is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Define and evolve end-to-end architecture: user, space, ground segments, 5G core, roaming.
• Make strategic decisions on allocation of onboard/ground functions and frequency planning.
• Consider subsystem capabilities and limitations in designs.
• Prepare for and defend system reviews.
• Specify and monitor interfaces (ICD): Uu NR-NTN, NG, F1, feeder links, inter-satellite links.
• Manage NTN-specific effects: Doppler, delay, timing, mobility, feeder handover.
• Determine number of satellites and access stations; establish end-to-end budgets (link budgets, throughput, latency).
• Develop system simulation models; evaluate service performance and deployment costs; coordinate with operators.
• Ensure compliance with Releases 17–19 and prepare for Release 20 and 6G.
• Contribute to standardization (3GPP RAN/SA, ETSI) with partners.
• Support end-to-end integration/validation: test benches, satellites emulators, interoperability with terminals and 5G cores.
• Support end-to-end anomaly analysis and resolution across teams.
