Summary : The role of the Senior SAP Business Consultant focuses on supporting the rollout of the SAP FAST template across various international markets. This position is crucial for ensuring that local financial requirements align with global standards while maintaining auditability and compliance in financial practices.

Main Responsibilities :

As a Senior SAP Business Consultant, you will play a vital role in enhancing financial processes and compliance standards within the organization. Key responsibilities include :

Support in the rollout of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and

Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes

taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for

leasing and financing in the local companies.

Documentation of local market processes and requirements in business requirement

documents.

Detailed analysis of local Reporting and Controlling requirements.

Creation and design of business solutions ending up in change request towards SAP

Template for Tax reporting, regulatory reporting, FI, Controlling (optional : asset accounting)

Setup of Company Codes and Branches in SAP

Key Requirements :

Experience as SAP Business Consultant.

Experience in method, process, and system design for accounting, tax, and controlling relevant business processes.

Several years of professional experience in the fields of accounting and controlling.

Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g., SAP certification).

Process understanding in individual and consolidated financial statement preparation.

Good knowledge of the legal framework of accounting for US-GAAP as well as international accounting standards (IFRS).

Nice to Have :

Experience with local banking processes.

Familiarity with accounting software tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Proficient in project management methodologies.

Other Details :

Location : Remote-first model with occasional on-site visits in Germany. Project Duration : Until 31.12. with possible extension. Collaboration with global and local databases teams. Use of toolset : JIRA, Confluence, Xray, Office. No subcontracting without pre-approval.
