Description du poste

The Management of Accounting Solution, Tools, Expertise in Reporting (MASTER) team is part of PBRC (Planning, Budget, Results, Central) and based in Paris. PBRC is dedicated to controlling, analyzing, and reporting the consolidated financial information delivered to Group Management (Management & Audit Committees and Board of Directors) and to external parties (shareholders, analysts, investors, auditors and supervisors).

PBRC is the owner of all major Group finance processes, including the development, the management and the maintenance of finance information systems, and responsible for the analysis and monitoring of IFRS and Solvency 2 consolidated accounts, and for the production of the Group Annual Report and other financial disclosures.

The role of the MASTER team is:

  • To support Finance family in the management of key tools used in the production and the consolidation of IFRS and S2P3 data.
  • To validate IT choices and implementations that support the production of consolidated accounts (IFRS, KPI and S2P3).
  • To coordinate and lead Finance information systems-related projects (e.g., SHINE, IFRS9-IFRS17).
  • To build and deliver in strong collaboration with Group Financial Controlling internal and external documentation.
  • To enhance Finance information systems used to collect IFRS / Solvency 2 data, producing configuration changes and IT developments (Magnitude, Shine).
  • To maintain a strong relationship with local finance teams and support them in solving business / accounting / system issues.
  • To participate in the monitoring and analysis of entities' contribution to Group financial indicators in order to build an overall view of the performance of AXA Group.

Primary missions and key accountabilities

Some of the primary responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst are the following:

  • Maintain the setup of the consolidation tool within AXA, SAP BFC.
  • Manage the upgrades requested by the business team.
  • Ensure workshops to discuss different specifications and design requests.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders such as Finance teams, IT teams, and end users to communicate on the different updates and corrections.
  • Provide valuable insights and expertise to the business teams to ensure a smooth closing on different topics: Reporting insurance-oriented, statutory consolidation and its diverse subjects (Cashflow statements, Shareholder equity analysis, merger and acquisition ...), Solvency 2 topics, and the CSRD reports (Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity).
  • Guarantee support for the Group and entities' finance teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality end-user support and providing clear guidance on tool usage.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with all the stakeholders to discuss new business requirements and communicate feasibility and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance of financial reporting implementation in SAP BFC requirements and SAP best practices.
  • Provide requested information from Internal Audit and ensure data integrity and accuracy through the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.

Candidate profile

Background and experience:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Sciences, Statistics, Data Engineering/Management, Data Analytics, Finance).
  • 5-6 years of experience in SAP BFC maintenance and implementation projects.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) as the working language.

Technical and professional skills:

  • Proven experience and expertise on SAP BFC tool.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, Solvency, and Management Reporting.
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.
  • Understanding of the Insurance Industry and AXA business model.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance finance/accounting concepts & KPIs.
