Senior Salesforce Developer (w/m/d) in Europe

Our client is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Developer/Development Lead who will play a key role in advancing Salesforce and SFI solutions.

In this position, you will be responsible for both hands-on development tasks and team leadership. You will be involved in the design, implementation, and optimization of applications while ensuring adherence to best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end solutions using Apex with strong development expertise.
• Develop front-end components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) to create modern, high-performance user interfaces.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Salesforce governance (e.g., governor limits) while implementing best practices to maintain system stability and performance.
• Apply established programming design patterns to develop scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Lead and mentor the development team while actively participating in agile projects (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ensure adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and integrate testing automation (unit tests, functional testing) into the development process.
• Develop managed packages as needed and leverage knowledge of additional programming languages to expand the solution portfolio.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional development experience, ideally with a focus on Salesforce.
• In-depth expertise in back-end development using Apex and experience with front-end development using LWC.
• A thorough understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitations.
• Proven experience with SDLC methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and implementing testing automation.
• Additional experience in developing managed packages and proficiency in other programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent English skills.
