Job Description
What you will be doing :
- Thorough knowledge of sales techniques, enjoy asking for business and closing sales, with a passion for generating leads and coaching others. Consistently arrange customer meetings & calls.
- Effective follow-up with deadlines. Manage administrative work related to sales activities. Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients.
- Be familiar with Accor sales tools, loyalty programs, ANAIS, Meeting Planner, CVENT, etc.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews to evaluate commercial achievements.
- Make calls, including challenging calls; target deployment accounts weekly. Minimize time spent in the office.
- Make onsite and field presentations to prospective clients, attend trade shows, and participate in sales blitzes.
- Develop action plans for international accounts/segments for short and long-term growth, focusing on deployed accounts.
- Explore key source markets, especially international and global accounts in RFPs, with accurate sales plans, including market visits and virtual calls.
- Grow the hotel share from international, regional, and global managed accounts, especially Rooms & Groups, based on the yearly calendar of events.
- Maintain good connections and knowledge of dealing with international, regional, and global managed accounts.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include :
- At least five (5) years of experience in a sales position, preferably in a global hotel chain.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multinational environment.
- Professional communication skills with consumers, stakeholders, and regional offices.
- Confident personality with leadership qualities and good presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written English skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with Accor tools (Global RFPs, Cvent, ANAIS, etc.).
- Self-motivated and a supportive team player, capable of coaching team members based on previous experience.
