Job Description

What you will be doing :

  1. Thorough knowledge of sales techniques, enjoy asking for business and closing sales, with a passion for generating leads and coaching others. Consistently arrange customer meetings & calls.
  2. Effective follow-up with deadlines. Manage administrative work related to sales activities. Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients.
  3. Be familiar with Accor sales tools, loyalty programs, ANAIS, Meeting Planner, CVENT, etc.
  4. Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews to evaluate commercial achievements.
  5. Make calls, including challenging calls; target deployment accounts weekly. Minimize time spent in the office.
  6. Make onsite and field presentations to prospective clients, attend trade shows, and participate in sales blitzes.
  7. Develop action plans for international accounts/segments for short and long-term growth, focusing on deployed accounts.
  8. Explore key source markets, especially international and global accounts in RFPs, with accurate sales plans, including market visits and virtual calls.
  9. Grow the hotel share from international, regional, and global managed accounts, especially Rooms & Groups, based on the yearly calendar of events.
  10. Maintain good connections and knowledge of dealing with international, regional, and global managed accounts.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include :

  1. At least five (5) years of experience in a sales position, preferably in a global hotel chain.
  2. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multinational environment.
  3. Professional communication skills with consumers, stakeholders, and regional offices.
  4. Confident personality with leadership qualities and good presentation skills.
  5. Excellent oral and written English skills.
  6. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  7. Familiarity with Accor tools (Global RFPs, Cvent, ANAIS, etc.).
  8. Self-motivated and a supportive team player, capable of coaching team members based on previous experience.
