Job Title: Senior Sales Lead - for Airport IT

In this role you’ll:
  1. Prospect, negotiate and sell (Focus on customers with no account development): Participate in the preparation of the long-term plan (sales forecast and solutions based on customer feedback) and definition of the sales plan.
  2. Identify and qualify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships with top-level executives.
  3. Identify customers’ specific needs and submit business proposals. Coordinate and participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-up.
  4. Promote and sell products, services, and solutions through direct contacts, events, and roadshows.
  5. Deliver sales presentations to senior management and demonstrate products. Manage negotiations to closure.
  6. Actively participate in marketing activities and contribute to marketing intelligence.
  7. Perform market and competitor analysis.
Manage all commercial matters related to accounts:
  1. Execute and process operational requests received from customers.
  2. Ensure optimal use of Amadeus technology by customers, achieving performance, productivity, and service metrics.
  3. Cascade new product and solution releases to customers timely.
  4. Work with Customer Solutions to retain and grow the IT portfolio.
  5. Organize regular business reviews and deep-dive sessions.
  6. Collaborate with Commercial Operations for renewal and market share development.
Effective collaboration (internal interfaces):
  1. Maintain current knowledge of the product portfolio and relevant market information.
  2. Organize Discovery workshops with Customer Solutions and Customer Operation for complex solutions.
  3. Support marketing activities and provide sales insights.
  4. Provide feedback on customer reactions and future needs to Customer Solutions.
Stakeholder Management:
  1. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the travel industry.
  2. Translate relationships into strategies to position Amadeus as a preferred provider.
  3. Participate in communities across Amadeus and externally.
Internal collaboration and knowledge sharing:
  1. Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure quality service to customers.
Our ideal candidate:
  • At least 10/12 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and hunting new customers.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and/or experience with public tenders in a regulated environment.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex, matrix environment.
