We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer focused on power utilities to join our Siemens Grid Software Sales team based in Nuremberg, Germany.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Executing Sales Engineer activities targeting power utilities, especially in power transmission and system operation companies.
  • Conducting both local and international onsite visits, remote presentations, and demonstrations of Spectrum Power-based SCADA EMS solutions to prospects, customers, consultants, and stakeholders, including participation in professional fairs and events.
  • Designing and implementing demo systems and technical solutions tailored to customer needs, with governance over Spectrum Power-based SCADA EMS demo systems.
  • Enabling and supporting sales colleagues and partners.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve our systems, processes, and offerings.

This is how you'll win us over:

  • Education: Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Over 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering focusing on power utilities.
    • Over 2 years of experience in Portfolio Sales focusing on power utilities.
    • Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Product Development related to SCADA EMS, especially Spectrum Power, is advantageous.
    • Ability to present and demonstrate complex technical products convincingly, with strong sales skills.
    • Strong customer focus and aspiration to be a trusted advisor, helping customers create value-driven solutions.
    • Analytical, problem-solving attitude with strong decision-making abilities, growth mindset, and teamwork skills.
    • Business proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
