Trustpair, a freelance-friendly fintech security company, seeks a senior Ruby on Rails backend developer to join one of our feature squads. You will design scalable features, contribute to architecture, and drive robust API development while ensuring security and performance.

You'll operate in an autonomous, fast‑moving, international engineering team, using modern stack (Rails, Docker, AWS) and embracing TDD, code reviews, and continuous improvement principles to deliver high-impact results for

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails backend development.
• Ability to conceive the technical design of complex product features.
• Experience with a rapidly growing product and scalable web architectures.
• Experience in Agile environments like Scrum or Kanban.
• Security-conscious development practices and API design.

Responsabilités

• Take the lead in creating innovative features by following best practices and maintaining code quality.
• Engage in all SDLC phases including architecture, development, and launches of new releases.
• Support critical services ensuring secure customer payments.
• Identify emerging technologies and propose improvements to the stack.
• Lead by example in code reviews, TDD, pair programming, and clean coding practices.
