Founded in 2008 in the Swedish coastal town of Varberg - home to 200 years of spa tradition - L:a BRUKET is a natural wellbeing brand spanning across body care, fragrance, and home.
What started as a small concept has grown into a globally recognized name, with retail presence across Sweden and France, in leading luxury destinations such as Galeries Lafayette, Liberty, Ludwig Beck, and Isetan, and in hotels around the world. Backed by the French private equity firm Experienced Capital Partners, we're now scaling fast - and looking for a Senior Retail Architect to shape how our brand comes to life in physical space.
THE ROLE
As Senior Retail Architect, you'll join our creative studio and marketing team at L BRUKET HQ in Paris. You'll lead the development of our retail environments and visual merchandising worldwide, including flagship stores, shop-in-shops, pop-ups, windows and seasonal displays. You'll take each project from first concept through to execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and develop retail architecture projects, including stores, shop-in-shops, and temporary retail activations.
- Produce concept presentations, technical drawings, 3D renderings, and material specifications.
- Design spaces that perform : balance brand expression with traffic flow, product visibility and sales density, and adapt concepts to each retailer's and market's commercial reality.
- Deliver planogram recommendations and VM designs for every store format: standalone retail doors, branded and personalised counters, gondolas, backwalls, shelves, islands, and other in-store displays.
- Own and evolve the brand's visual merchandising guidelines. These cover fixture and display standards and how each category (body care, fragrance, home) tells its product story.
- Design seasonal and campaign VM for windows, launches, gifting set-ups and in-store POSM, in line with the marketing calendar.
- Create clear VM toolkits and briefing packs for sales teams, retail partners and department store counters, and train teams to apply them.
- Make sure guidelines are applied correctly in every market through store visits, photo reporting and regular audits.
Delivery & alignment
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Align with the marketing team so that every project stays consistent with the brand and supports commercial objectives.
- Manage projects and deadlines.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- A degree in architecture or spatial design. Proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- At least 5 years' experience in beauty or luxury retail architecture, spatial design or scenography with hands-on visual merchandising experience including planograms for different store formats, window and seasonal displays, and fixture design.
- A strong retail sense: you understand how customers shop in a space, what drives sell-out, and how to work within department store guidelines and budgets.
- Experience managing retail projects from concept through to completion. Someone who enjoys making mock-ups, sourcing materials and being directly involved in bringing ideas to life.
- An excellent eye for contemporary design, a strong aesthetic, and a genuine interest in architecture, interiors, materials and design culture.
- A self-motivated, organised approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Willingness to travel for installations and store visits.
- Fluent English; French or Swedish is a plus.
