Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy for raw materials trading in African markets.
• Leverage an existing client base to generate immediate trading volume and revenue.
• Build and manage a trading team to support regional business development.
• Take full responsibility for the region’s P&L, reporting directly to senior executive management.
• Role reports to trade director

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in raw material trading (pig iron, iron ore, scrap).
• Established and transferable portfolio of clients and suppliers.
• Deep understanding of the African raw materials market and trading dynamics.
• Proven ability to independently build and grow a business unit from inception.
• Experience in building and managing high-performing trading teams.
