Alice & Bob is building a universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer. You will design and integrate robust rack/electronics systems, including PCB parts and cryostat sub-assemblies, while collaborating with physicists and RF/mechanical engineers to ensure scalable hardware architectures.

The role emphasizes hands-on electronics design, lab instrumentation, and tool automation, with a focus on reliable, production-ready installations within a fast-scaling environment in Aubervilliers.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in electronics design and system integration, PCB design and lab/instrumentation.
• Proficient with analog/RF/DC design and PCB tools (KiCad/Altium).
• Strong Python scripting for tooling, testing or automation.
• Excellent documentation and cross-team communication, English fluent; French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and integrate robust rack and electronics systems, including custom PCBs and cryostat parts.
• Integrate equipment into racks and cryostats; manage wiring across instruments and scale installations.
• Design and run validation tests, analyze results, troubleshoot electronics and control-electronics systems.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with equipment suppliers; stay abreast of instrumentation.
• Collaborate with physicists, RF, and mechanical engineers to define hardware architectures and document work.
