Safran Quality and Progress Directorate, part of the Industrial, Purchasing and Performance Direction, is seeking senior leaders for the Safran Progress initiative (M/F) to support operational industrial activities within Safran and its tier companies in Europe.

The Safran corporate Progress direction is integrated within the Safran Quality and Progress division, aiming to achieve operational excellence and top-tier industrial performance while satisfying external customer expectations. The ideal candidate will assist and support internal 'customers' (Safran tier companies) in their transformation plans, performance improvement initiatives, and projects across various industrial domains such as Total Quality Management, Manufacturing Excellence, Global Supply Chain Management (internal/external), and Product Industrialization using APQP.

Responsibilities include deploying, embedding, and sustaining operational excellence, interacting across all operational domains, and engaging with all levels of the organization. The role involves supporting improvement and transformation projects, problem-solving, root cause analysis, change management, coaching, and training activities, often using Safran Group standards and methodologies.

The progress leader will:

1. Engage with Safran companies to define action scopes.
2. Lead diagnostics, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities.
3. Develop and steer improvement plans.
4. Facilitate workshops and team activities.
5. Support change management initiatives.
6. Use Safran standards and methodologies to develop sustainable solutions.
7. Act as a coach and project leader, transferring knowledge and possibly leading training sessions.

Qualifications include:

• Engineering degree with 15-20 years of experience in managing Total Quality in supply chain or industrial operations, preferably in Aerospace but open to other industries such as Automotive, High Tech, etc.
• Knowledge of MRP2 processes, ERP systems, and APQP; certifications like APICS are a plus.
• Experience in performance improvement, lean transformation, digital evolution, and project management.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, analytical, and challenge skills, with ability to lead teams and adapt to various situations.
• Proficiency in digital tools and office systems.

The candidate should have held operational roles in industrial settings, led projects and transformations, interacted with all organizational levels, and be capable of understanding complex operational issues and strategic visions.
