Senior Python Developer- Network Systems Engineer

Within the last decade, Ekinops has launched its innovative end-to-end open virtualization platform (OVP) that allows clients to virtualize their network within a ZTP uCPE and manage it remotely using its NFV end-to-end solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the NFVI team of 8 people, reporting to NFVI team lead, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and architecture of the NFV uCPE solution
• Propose innovative methods to enhance product performance and Quality
• Develop new features along with their automated tests and documentation
• Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
• Disseminate your knowledge to help increase the skills and know-hows of the team in your areas of expertise

Profile and Skills

An autonomous, proactive, senior network systems engineer with the following skills and experiences:

General

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems

Technical Knowledge

• Solid experience in Linux based environment
• Expert in Python and C development
• Expert in networking (i.e. deep understanding of network management, protocols, administration)
• Previous experience in virtualization technologies (e.g. Openvswitch, Qemu, libvirt, SR-IOV)
• Previous experience with network security applications (certificate management)
• Fluent in both English and French (oral, written)
• Capacity to work in collaborative agile environment
• Ability to work well under pressure.
