Senior Python Developer

Remuneration : up to - PLN / h +VAT (depends on experience)

PROJECT :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer to join a team at a semiconductor manufacturing company.

As part of the development and quality assurance process, the team creates and manages product specification data in a product specification database. Additionally, the team records and stores data on individual parts used in production in a product database, including product measurement data, process data, and machine sensor data.

The aim of the assignment is to design new Python packages to support and qualify (test automation) this specialist algorithm and to maintain and further develop existing packages. Potential users within the company should be able to use the packages with the help of documentation and support. Furthermore, the development of these packages should be managed outside of the core development team as part of inner-source development. After completion of the development, the resulting software should be able to be further developed and operated by the client.

Responsibilities :

1. Designing and developing new Python packages to support and qualify specialist algorithms used in an automation environment with Docker.
2. Maintaining and enhancing existing Python packages for web service communication and test automation of specialist algorithms.
3. Providing documentation and support to potential users within the company for utilizing the Python packages.
4. Managing the development of these packages as part of inner-source development, outside of the core development team.
5. Collaborating in an Agile SCRUM environment, contributing to regular sprints and working with the product owner to prioritize backlog items.

Skills (Must-Have) :

1. At least 5 years of commercial experience with Python.
2. Proficiency in Python 3 and experience with common open-source Python libraries.
3. Familiarity with REST interfaces and the OpenAPI specification.
4. Knowledge of Docker for containerized specialist algorithms.
5. Understanding of web services and web service clients in Python.
6. Experience with code maintenance and testing using Azure DevOps.
