We are a small but fast-growing start-up looking to expand our team with many high-level projects. At Kairos, we are looking for a Senior / Managerial Public Affairs professional to help support our vision and win new work. This role involves monitoring, analysis, strategy, and providing opinions and advice to clients across different industries.

The practice delivers integrated services combining Public Affairs, financial communications, and corporate communications, with specialty offerings including strategy consulting, research, creative engagement, crisis and issues management, as well as change communications.
Overview:
- Oversee the delivery of client projects in public affairs and policy, ensuring quality and impact.
- Conduct intelligible regulatory and prudential monitoring.
- Ensure excellent, precise monitoring services.
- Major in Public Affairs with expertise in strategic/corporate communication.
- Understanding of Brussels/EU policies is a bonus.
- Experience in team management and working directly with the CEO and senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of agriculture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Prepare government strategies in assigned regions and maintain good relations with city officials.
- Develop relationships with public officials and implement policies to achieve objectives.
- Coordinate with departments and provide inputs to officials.
- Propose positions to defend in anticipation of texts, representing the company's interests.
- Contribute to building a function that adds value aligned with the company's strategic priorities.
- Build internal communications and engagement strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, trade associations, think tanks, and industry leaders.
- Work with a start-up entrepreneurial spirit, building a network; this role is client-facing.
Practice Leadership:
- Manage the practice to grow the Public Affairs business.
- Provide insights to lead account teams on complex client challenges.
- Manage, develop, inspire, and motivate staff.
- Evaluate strategies and anticipate challenges with senior management.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Understanding financial markets and economic policies.
- Leading business development efforts.
- Supporting proposals and work-winning activities.
- Creating strategies to help clients achieve policy and advocacy objectives.
- Building external relationships with authorities and partners.
- Facilitating visits and meetings to meet company objectives.
