Nasdaq in Paris is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive global system implementations from initiation to close. You will lead cross-functional teams at the intersection of technology, finance, and client experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 8+ years in project management within capital markets, strong PMI and Agile expertise, and excellent English communication. A hybrid work model with 3 days in office is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience in capital markets or financial services.
• Proficiency in PMI and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to assess and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English with stakeholder influence experience.

As a Senior Project Manager reporting to the Senior Director of Delivery Management, you'll play a central role in delivering Nasdaq's global system implementations - driving projects from initiation through to successful close.

You'll work at the intersection of technology, finance, and client experience, managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

You'll thrive in this role if you're delivery-focused, collaborative, and passionate about creating exceptional outcomes for clients and internal teams alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, milestone planning, resource management, and budget oversight.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating where needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Chair governance meetings and maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, risk logs, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
• Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships through clear, consistent communication and proactive engagement.
• Support and develop project team members in line with Nasdaq's leadership principles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience in capital markets or financial services.
• Proficiency in both PMI and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and JIRA/Confluence.
• Familiarity with Nasdaq software platforms or capital markets technology environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel as business needs require.

This position is based in Paris and offers a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in office.
