Overview

Job Description : Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Data & Analytics - Agile Mode (f / m) based in Marignane France.

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the work stream Data Analytics and Intelligence in the frame of the Data & Analytics center of excellence (D&A CoE) setup project and its this pivotal role you will be responsible for defining project scope managing timelines budgets risks and resources effectively.

The ideal candidate will foster strong stakeholder relationships ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data & analytics methodologies agile practices and a proven track record in driving business value through data solutions. You will champion best practices within the CoE mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of our project delivery framework. You will also be in charge of defining and deploying the Data Analytics & Intelligence (DA&I) operating model animating the MFT (multi functional team) for DA&I and defining the effective governance to deliver data analytics and data capabilities for all the functions of the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines resource allocation and risk management strategies adhering to Agile principles.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and resource allocation ensuring efficient utilization and adherence to financial targets.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders at all levels managing expectations and ensuring their active engagement.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify assess and manage project risks and issues developing mitigation plans and ensuring timely resolution.
• Fostering strong stakeholder relationships ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Championing best practices within the Data Analytics & Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the project delivery framework.
• Defining and deploying the Data Analytics & Intelligence operating model.
• Animating the Multi-Functional Team (MFT) for Data Analytics & Intelligence.
• Defining effective governance to deliver data analytics and data capabilities for all company functions.
• Leading complex data-driven projects from inception to successful delivery.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to Agile processes and project management methodologies within the team and the wider organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication across development teams business stakeholders and other relevant departments.
• Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular and accurate project status reports including progress against milestones budget adherence and risk mitigation efforts. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
• Extensive Project Management Experience: Significant and demonstrable experience (typically 5 years) in managing complex IT projects with a strong focus on data & analytics initiatives.
• Deep Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum Kanban) and a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices. Relevant Agile certifications (e.g. Scrum Master PMI-ACP) are a plus.
• Data & Analytics Knowledge: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts data integration processes business intelligence tools and analytics methodologies.
• Strong Leadership & Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to lead and facilitate Agile teams and drive effective collaboration.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Stakeholder Management Expertise: Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively manage expectations with diverse stakeholders.
• Risk Management Proficiency: Experience in identifying assessing and mitigating project risks and issues.
• Familiarity with Project Management Tools: Experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira Confluence MS Project).
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of French and / or German is advantageous.
• Experience leading a work stream Data / Data Analytics and Intelligence in the frame of a Data & Analytics CoE setup project and its deployment.
• Skills Required: Proven experience in project management (8 years); Agile practices and agile Project Management (Scrum Kanban SAFe); Project Planning & Execution; Stakeholder Management; Risk & Issue Management; Budget Management; Team Facilitation; Strong communication skills; Problem-Solving; Leadership & Influencing; Data Analytics & Intelligence Fundamentals; Project Management Tools; Customer focus; Ability to define and deploy operating models; Ability to animate multi-functional teams; Ability to define and implement effective governance.
