About the position

The Paris Engineering Division is looking for a Project Information Management Lead M/F to strengthen its Information Management team.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Project Information Management function by working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and implementing data management on large-scale projects worldwide.

The Project Information Management Lead will manage all activities and deliverables related to project technical data structuration and management:

  1. Definition of rules for data structuration
  2. Setup of the Engineering data warehouse and support for project and engineering disciplines in structuring their data
  3. Collection, quality check, consolidation, and handover of data to Construction team and Client

The Project Information Management Lead reports to the Project Engineering Manager and manages a team of Methods and Data Engineers and Data Coordinators.

Accountabilities:

  1. Be the single point of contact on all Information Management topics on the Project, interacting with Project, Partners, and Client
  2. Develop and maintain the Project Information Management strategy and plan, according to Technip Energies standards and Client requirements (data structuration, workflows, collection, control, consolidation, and handover)
  3. Clarify equipment and material identification and numbering procedures with the Client and define data handover requirements
  4. Prepare and issue data management deliverables (Information Management Plan, Data Control Procedure, Data Requirements Specification)
  5. Participate in setting up the Engineering Data Warehouse with Methods and Tools team and support engineering disciplines in using its modules
  6. Create and maintain a Master Tag Register for project components and attributes, including source identification and data collection processes with KPIs
  7. Ensure Information Management requirements are included in supplier requisitions during inquiries
  8. Coordinate with Requisition Leads to ensure these requirements are understood and met
  9. Work with engineering disciplines to validate data before consolidation in the Data Warehouse
  10. Extract data from the Data Warehouse for deliverables and data handover to Construction and Client
  11. Provide regular reports to Project management and Client

About you:

  1. Master's Degree preferred, with over 5 years of experience
  2. Recent and applicable experience in a similar role
  3. Knowledge of engineering work processes, preferably in Oil & Gas
  4. Understanding of data management processes and systems
  5. Fluency in both written and spoken English
  6. Proficiency in Excel; Power BI is a plus
  7. Experience with databases (Access, Aveva Engineering, or others)

Position details:

  • Based in Paris, France
  • Remote work up to 10 days per month
  • Occasional business trips
