About the role:

As a Senior Project Engineer for new projects, you will support the AP1000 Poland Project Engineering organization. You will engage in various nuclear power plant design topics to support Westinghouse's international new build market development and capture efforts. The AP1000 Poland Project Engineering team includes both US-based and Europe-based groups working together to achieve departmental missions.

You will report to the Component, Structures, and Construction Integration Project Engineering Manager (PEM). The position is hybrid, based in one of the European or US offices (Cleveland or Rock Hill).

Main Responsibilities:

• Enhance nuclear safety culture traits and human performance tools
• Support engineering documentation updates and release document list management
• Coordinate engineering documentation finalization for long and medium lead components
• Participate in fabrication follow-up and shop drawing reviews
• Coordinate with suppliers during procurement RfQ and fabrication phases
• Assist in bid and proposal efforts across engineering disciplines
• Lead efforts supporting engineering contracts and project milestones for new builds
• Guide decision-making to meet technical, commercial, and schedule needs, focusing on supply chain and long/medium lead equipment

Qualifications:

• 5 to 8+ years of project engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in engineering related to component fabrication, procurement, or integration
