Job summary

Leap29 is seeking a Project Director / Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre and energy infrastructure initiatives. The role combines a strong electromechanical engineering foundation with end-to-end project delivery, from early development through procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive owner-side EPC leadership, contractor management and financial oversight across multiple countries, driving on-schedule, within-budget

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects from development through commissioning.
• Owner-side leadership and oversight of EPC activities including schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Background in electromechanical engineering, HVAC, and industrial construction.
• Proven capability in supplier negotiations and contract administration for major capital projects.
• Proven ability to manage multi-country site execution and coordinate diverse teams.
• Experience overseeing testing, commissioning and operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead project and programme delivery for data centre and energy infrastructure.
• Provide engineering oversight across procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, authorities and senior leadership.
• Supervise site teams, resolve technical and operational challenges, ensure safety and quality.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and delivery performance.
• Coordinate testing, handover and closeout activities with clients and contractors.
