The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading complex helicopter maintenance, modification and completion programs while providing technical and operational leadership across multiple concurrent projects. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, the Senior Program Manager drives program performance, manages strategic customer relationships and supports the continuous improvement of Rotortrade's program management function.
The role requires significant experience within the helicopter industry together with excellent project management, customer management and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex helicopter maintenance, modification and completion programs from contract award through aircraft delivery.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with full accountability for schedule, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the senior interface with customers, ensuring transparent communication and effective issue resolution.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Production, Engineering, CAMO, Part 145, Part 21, Procurement and Quality.
- Develop integrated project plans and monitor overall program performance.
- Identify commercial, technical and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support commercial negotiations, contract execution and change management.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior Program Managers.
- Drive process improvements and best practices within the Program Management function.
- Support business development activities by contributing technical expertise during customer proposals.
- Ensure full compliance with EASA regulations, company procedures and quality standards.
- Prepare executive-level reporting for senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in helicopter maintenance, aviation or aerospace program management.
- Extensive experience managing complex customer programs.
- Strong understanding of helicopter maintenance operations.
- Solid knowledge of:
- EASA Part 145
- EASA Part 21
- CAMO
- Degree in Engineering, Aviation Management or a related discipline preferred.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
