Freeda in Paris is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the AI-assisted compliance review platform used by construction professionals. You will shape the end-to-end review experience, reduce manual steps and ensure experts trust the findings.
You will collaborate with AI engineers, product designers and the reviewers, prioritise features, specify wireframes and prototypes, and manage a prioritised backlog in Linear. Ownership mindset is essential.
We build an AI-assisted compliance review platform for the construction sector. Our AI reads architectural plans and surfaces potential non-compliances. Our technical experts validate, correct and complete that work to produce the final report.
Our internal review platform is where that collaboration happens: navigating large drawing sets, reviewing and annotating AI findings, cross-referencing regulatory requirements. Our experts live in it every day. It sits directly in their critical path.
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to own it.
Our reviewers are not short of opinions about what costs them time, and their ideas are usually good. They will tell you on day one.
The hard part is what comes next. Getting from a stated inefficiency to a shipped feature means knowing how the work is really done, in detail: which step is actually expensive, what our pipeline can take over and what it cannot, what interaction removes the step without weakening the review.
That is the gap this role exists to close. Not collecting requests. Understanding the work well enough to build the right version of a good idea.
Then you decide what to do about it. Sometimes the answer is to improve the model. Sometimes the answer is to leave the model alone and change how the finding is surfaced, so the expert resolves it in two seconds instead of two minutes. That call is yours to make with our engineers, not ours to make for you.
The whole review experience on that platform. You are accountable for cutting the number of manual steps an expert takes to close out a review, while client-side rejections and rework requests hold flat or improve.
That second half matters. Every step you remove has to leave the expert as confident in the finding as they were before, or more. The work we are proud of makes the right call faster to reach, not easier to skip.
Sitting with our reviewers until you understand their work better than their description of it
Understanding our AI pipeline well enough to know where a wrong output came from, and whether it is worth fixing upstream or better absorbed by the interface
Specifying features as annotated wireframes or clickable prototypes with the interaction sequence and target step count made explicit, not as prose that leaves ergonomics to whoever picks up the ticket
Running a prioritised backlog in Linear, working alongside engineering through delivery
Checking what actually gets built before it reaches our reviewers. You own the UX and UI quality of everything shipped in your scope: if the interaction that lands is not the one you specified, that is yours to catch, not the user’s to discover
Closing the loop: did reviewers actually change how they work after the release
Meaning. Fix what everyone else gave up on. You'll help build the thing that makes the built environment worth trusting again, in a category everyone else found too hard and walked away from.
Craft. The industry Freeda enters runs on box-checking. We're built on the opposite conviction: expertise and craft are the standard, on every file and in every function. Whatever your discipline, you'll be held to a high bar and surrounded by people who hold it too.
Ownership. You're not here to run someone else's plan inside a narrow lane. You take real scope and own the result, early enough that the calls you make are real ones.
Top-tier compensation and equity that reflects the calibre of talent we're building with.
Monthly team events plus two company retreats a year because we genuinely like each other.
Beautiful, light-filled office right in Paris.
