About the Product Team

The team is responsible for driving the growth and success of our recurring payment product portfolio. They own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and delivering exceptional value to our customers. This requires a deep understanding of the European fintech landscape, payment processing, and subscription-based business models.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be the driving force behind product strategy, execution, and value creation. We are looking for a product leader who can help take our product to the next level, and drive commercial impact. You'll be an expert on direct debit and should understand how to position the product within the European market to drive sustainable growth. This role is key in communicating the outlook and vision for recurring payments and managing the relevant commercial and operational stakeholders across Trustly.

What you'll do

  • Own the product lifecycle, from strategy to execution, ensuring clear prioritisation and structured decision-making
  • Product positioning and market analysis to drive the growth of the product across the European market
  • Align and manage stakeholders in engineering, operations, commercial and customer success to support commercial product releases and the go-to-market strategy for recurring payments
  • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision, helping teams understand the "why" behind what we build
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, continuously optimising for impact
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product development and launch
  • Bring structure to our entrepreneurial culture, helping scale product management processes while maintaining agility

Who you are

  • A strong background in product management, ideally in fintech or a similarly fast-paced industry
  • Experience working in a tech-driven environment, comfortable bridging the gap between engineering and business
  • Market trends, customer needs and knowledge about competitors within this space
  • Direct debit knowledge and background
  • A strategic thinker who can both define long-term vision and execute on short-term priorities
  • Strong product discovery abilities with an emphasis towards continuous discovery techniques
  • Strong communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving alignment
  • Data-driven decision-making, using insights to prioritise and measure impact
  • Comfortable working across different locations and collaborating with international teams
