Our Paris office will host our future core R&D team in charge of the development of our flagship product, Construct . Construct is a B2B SaaS construction management and quality control platform designed from the ground up for utility-scale solar projects. By combining GIS, AI / ML, IoT, and mobile technologies, the solution drives major improvements in safety, quality, cost, and schedule for the solar industry. Construct has supported morethan 16+ GW of projects from leading owners and EPCs.

The Role

Terabase is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next generation of our Construct platform and related digital products. This is a critical role at the intersection of complex industrial workflows, next-gen technology, and intuitive user experience design. You will be instrumental in translating sophisticated construction and automation workflows into clear, usable, and elegant interfaces across mobile and web applications.

The Senior Product Designer will be a member of the software + digital product team, reporting to the SVP of Product based in Paris, and working closely with the global design, engineering, and product organizations. As a member of this team, you will work, learn, and grow in Terabase’s unique environment : mission-driven, innovative, lean, and fast-moving.

We are looking for a thoughtful systems-level thinker and experienced product designer with exceptional clarity of thought. You thrive on solving wickedly hard design problems, distilling complexity into usable experiences, and working with deep domain experts in technical and industrial contexts.

As an early hire in Paris, you will play a pivotal role in :

  • Owning UX for key Construct platform features and workflows
  • Collaborating closely with local and global product and engineering teams
  • Driving research-led design decisions that meet the needs of enterprise users in renewable energy construction

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX design efforts for the Construct platform, with a focus on complex enterprise workflows in construction, renewables, and industrial automation
  • Translate deeply technical and multi-stakeholder problems into coherent, elegant, and scalable UX / UI patterns across mobile and web
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to deeply understand user journeys, constraints, and edge cases
  • Conduct contextual research, user interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate assumptions
  • Create system-level UX frameworks, wireframes, user flows, interaction models, and detailed UI specifications
  • Collaborate with the global design team and offshore design resources to execute cohesive and consistent design systems
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and usability best practices are integrated across mobile and web platforms
  • Champion design excellence and user empathy in an environment where innovation, execution speed, and technical accuracy are highly valued
  • Track product design quality through implementation and QA, ensuring final delivery meets the original UX intent
  • Help instill Terabase’s design culture and practices within the Paris team and broader organization

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience designing complex digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS, GIS, industrial automation, or enterprise software domains
  • Deep expertise in UX for both web and mobile platforms
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills; able to model abstract concepts, multi-step workflows, and system complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly technical teams and understand real-world constraints (e.g., offline modes, sensor data, system states)
  • Experience conducting field / user research and turning insights into actionable design
  • Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools
  • Strong visual design sensibility and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing tools in construction, renewable energy, manufacturing, or other heavy industry environments
  • Familiarity with geospatial data (GIS), digital twins, or systems integrating IoT / sensor data
  • Experience designing for data-intensive products, analytics dashboards, or field-service applications
  • Comfort working with distributed product and engineering teams
  • Exposure to robotics, AI / ML, or automation technologies in a user-facing context
  • Understanding of the construction lifecycle and related workflows
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
