About the team

The design team at Ready are experienced, senior practitioners. You will join a group of “equal experts” who collaborate to create simplicity from the complex, with a touch of playfulness and a few surprises.

Our vision is to create a “global neobank” that truly anyone can use and benefit from – meaning radically simple mobile interface design. Unshackled by the legacy financial system, we can reach and uplift those who have been underserved financially, giving them a fighting chance in a world where wealth inequality is rising fast.

As Senior Product Designer, you will get to

• Work with the other designers, product managers and engineers to craft a beautiful and usable mobile app for people anywhere in the world to deposit funds, save, borrow and spend.
• Explore ways to differentiate Ready from other services, through playfulness, creativity and intelligent, thoughtful solutions to the design problems we face.
• Be part of a great team, with regular 1:1 design reviews and cross-team conversations, growing personally and helping the team to also grow.

Your experience should include

• Consumer-facing native mobile UI design.
• Evidenced strong typographic and visual design skills (layout, colour, graphics etc)
• Design System creation and/or management (preferably company wide / multi-channel or multi-product design system)
• Evidence of how you have taken complex user flows, and made UIs simple enough for most people to use.
• We use Figma heavily, including many of its advanced features.

You might also have

• Video production or editing skills (we use some video effects for a few features, like our card freeze animation)
• Animation skills (we are increasingly using Rive to bring more excitement to the app!)
• Strong micro copy writing skills
