General Overview of this role:

As a Process Engineer Biotechnology, you will be responsible for optimizing existing processes and managing cross-functional improvement projects.

You will support the performance of the enzyme manufacturing site by solving technical issues and ensuring the implementation of corrective solutions.

The position reports to the Global Transfer Team Manager

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead process improvement projects in collaboration with R&D
  2. Manage multidisciplinary site improvement projects (technical, quality, safety)
  3. Solve production issues and coordinate with operational departments
  4. Update production recipes and process documentation
  5. Ensure technological monitoring and inter-site exchanges
  6. Contribute to the development of medium- and long-term industrial plans
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Engineer or PhD in biotechnology or agro-food (Master’s/BAC+5 minimum)
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in the food or biotechnology industry
  3. Expertise in industrial biotechnology, specializing in fermentation with skills in extraction/purification/drying
  4. Strong understanding of microbiology and food safety
  5. Continuous improvement skills (Yellow/Green Belt, Lean 6 Sigma)
  6. Project management skills, consultative approach, creativity
  7. Fluency in English and French
