Job summary

Filigran, a global cybersecurity company, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal and cloud environments, including on-prem deployments for customers who run the product themselves.

You will own deployment tooling, including Helm charts, Ansible automation, and CI/CD pipelines, while improving observability, security, and reliability across SaaS instances and regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production: operating and troubleshooting clusters.
• Strong Ansible skills and experience writing and maintaining Helm charts.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana).
• A security mindset: you think about secrets, access, network exposure and blast radius by default.
• An AI-oriented mindset: you already use AI tools and agents in your work, or you're eager to start.
• Willingness to code: Python and scripting are part of daily work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal and in the cloud.
• Roll out and operate Filigran products in new regions and providers as SaaS footprint grows.
• Develop and maintain deployment tooling: Helm charts, Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, and on-prem virtual appliance.
• Keep SaaS instances available and reliable, with ongoing improvement in observability, capacity planning, incident management and post-incident reviews.
• Harden the platform for regulated environments (FedRAMP, SecNumCloud) and handle security considerations by default.
• Use AI agents across daily work while reviewing outputs, and document decisions for humans and agents.
• Contribute to designing a playground for agents: make repos, docs and guardrails agent-friendly and maintainable.
• Translate problems from first signal to shipped solutions: scope, plan, and document decisions for reuse.
