Bioptimus in Paris offers a remote Senior Platform Engineer role focused on building a cloud-first platform to empower researchers and engineers. You will own the AWS foundation and IaC, turning scripts into a paved road and setting the standards for the team.

You will partner with research, design scalable pipelines, support scale, and shape a platform-as-a-product with observable, cost-aware operations while maintaining strong security and networking.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AWS and production cloud infrastructure design.
• Experience with IaC, Terraform; configuration-as-code discipline.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise.
• Strong CI/CD and developer experience instincts.
• Security engineering practices in code and infrastructure.
• Networking—VPC design, private connectivity, DNS, load balancing.
• Platform-as-a-product mindset with ownership and governance.

Responsabilités

• Own the cloud foundation: design and operate AWS architecture and IaC.
• Build the self-service platform and internal developer tooling.
• Own CI/CD and deployment pipelines across models and SDKs.
• Integrate security and networking as a property of the paved road.
• Set standards: architecture, processes, and platform/product boundaries.
• Make observability and cost visibility integral to the platform.
• Support research at scale by enabling self-serve workflows.
