Mistral seeks a talented platform engineer to join the Research Platform team, working across Paris, Warsaw or London with hybrid work or remote EU/UK options and monthly hub visits. You will help build a cloud‑agnostic platform that boosts stability, scalability and velocity for the research department.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DX/DevOps/SRE roles.
• Proficient in Python and Go with good programming practices.
• Experience with site reliability engineering and on‑call troubleshooting.
• Exposure to CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, infra‑as‑code, monitoring and observability.
• Technical product mindset and ability to debug adoption challenges.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills; strong ownership.
• Autonomous, self‑driven and able to thrive in a fast paced startup environment.
• Low ego and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable systems for the research CI with reliability and speed.
• Build flexible, accessible development environments for researchers.
• Design and optimize data pipelines and manage large data workloads.
• Optimize builds: container images, libraries, and Python environments.
• Engage with researchers to understand workflows and enable them to achieve more.
• Produce docs and content to help users get the most from the tools you build.
• Platformize research and continuously improve daily researcher experience.
