Job summary

QIMA is seeking a senior TechOps Engineer to own and evolve the internal platform that supports our AI-enabled engineering stack. You will lead CI/CD, IaC, and data/ML workflows, while ensuring security, observability, and scalable deployment across cloud environments.

You will join a high-ownership team that values architectural excellence, automation, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong emphasis on AI adoption to empower engineers and agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Proven mastery of using AI to design and build a production-grade AI harness (agents, tools, context, guardrails, evaluation).
• Strong production-grade experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Proven track record architecting/operating CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Argo Workflow, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Experience on-call for mission-critical systems.
• Monitoring/observability with Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and network security.
• Microservice architecture in cloud environments.
• Experience with secrets management (Vault) is a plus.
• Experience building internal platforms / developer tooling is a plus.
• Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or 5+ years experience.
• English fluent with strong communication; daily use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the platform, shaping core infrastructure into an engineering platform for business solutions and internal AI platform.
• Architect and evolve CI/CD pipelines and the shared app stack using GitOps practices.
• Design infrastructure as code across cloud, network, and security layers for scalability.
• Create self-service production templates and tooling for rapid, safe deployments.
• Build the AI agent platform for CI/CD, IaC, and self-service tasks with proper guardrails.
• Extend platform to DataOps/MLOps ensuring consistency with application code standards.
• Join on-call rotation and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Embed AI-driven automation into deployment, monitoring, and operations.
