Job summary

Ubisoft seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build platform services for a cloud-based AI agent platform. You will own back-end orchestration, isolated runtimes, and durable state across distributed components, with focus on observability, security, and production readiness.

You will work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern development stacks to deliver scalable, reliable services used across Kobo and other products.

Qualifications

• Strong practical software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in a production back-end language (Python/Go/Rust/Java/TypeScript).
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Experience designing maintainable services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and container technologies.
• Experience operating services in production with monitoring and reliability improvements.
• Security mindset for authentication, authorization, secret management and isolation.
• Excellent collaboration across product, platform, infrastructure and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate scalable back-end services for agent orchestration and sessions.
• Define service boundaries and APIs for independent evolution.
• Build runtimes and environments for agent execution and isolation.
• Develop orchestration across services and runtimes with durable state and retries.
• Ensure platform services are reliable, observable, and cost-effective.
• Design and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS with Kubernetes and containers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into reusable platform capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentorship, and hands-on contribution.
