round8 talent search is partnering with a high-growth, remote-first SaaS AdTech business that builds mission-critical infrastructure used by leading digital publishers worldwide. We seek a Senior Platform Engineer to own the production platform and shape Platform Engineering’s future.

This role reports to the CTO, owning infrastructure strategy, Terraform, and multi-cloud foundations, enabling faster, more secure software delivery across the team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code platform.
• Experience with GitOps and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering, observability and security.
• The ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

We’re partnering with a high-growth, remote-first SaaS AdTech business that builds mission-critical infrastructure used by leading digital publishers worldwide.

With a collaborative engineering culture, they're looking for their first dedicated Platform Engineer to take ownership of their infrastructure and help shape the future of Platform Engineering within the business.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a small, experienced engineering team in a high-impact position reporting directly to the CTO.

You’ll own the production platform, define infrastructure strategy, and build the foundations for a future Platform/SRE function while enabling engineering teams to deliver software faster, more reliably, and more securely.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in senior Platform, DevOps, Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code platform.
• Experience with GitOps and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering, observability and security.
• The ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Experience within adtech is not essential. Candidates from SaaS, cloud infrastructure, fintech, gaming, media, e-commerce or other cloud-native environments are encouraged to apply.
