A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for a floating wind project. The role requires a strong background in Oil & Gas or offshore wind energy and proven expertise in project planning. With a flexible hybrid work arrangement, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Role Definition
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team for a floating wind project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oil & Gas (O&G) or offshore wind energy, with proven expertise in project planning and execution. This is not a junior position; we are looking for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
Provide regular updates and reports to the project management team.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project timelines.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning within the O&G or offshore wind sectors.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as required.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid work arrangement: one week on-site (Paris, Lorient, or Nantes), one week home office.
2-3 days per week commitment.
